Result 125, but I think like ruchi said theres no standard what so ever on IQ test, this is the 5th different one i've done, & all the score are different . Of course just like everyone else, i love the one that give me the "super intelligent IQ" ahahahahahaha

As mentioned before, it peeves me when there are two legitimate answers to a question, as it takes even longer to answer it (as you're weighing up which one to give) and chances are that the person creating the test did not see both of them, and as such one will be deemed wrong, even though it is valid.

This question is about discovering the pattern, the red square is obviously moving in a clockwise direction, but is it moving in a clockwise pattern or a spiral pattern?

Both answers would be valid, meaning that you could answer either "D" or "H".

you make a good point, but in these tests i dont think every question has 1 right answer, there is probabaly a weighing system where one answer is more right than the next, or maybe 2 answers have equal weight.. maybe you should email the author, i chose H anyway

ummm.... I say this as politely as I can, but as far as scoring goes there is only one correct answer. There's no half points for being close. I've had to do a number of IQ tests, and each has been the same. You're either right or wrong, there's no gray. (again, I say this politely and as a source of information, and am trying not to be contentious ).

Many of these questions were disguised maths equations, and 2 + 2 can only equal 4, there's no half points for being close if you say 5

The following is a good example. It is simple maths, the circles add up both across the page and down the page. For the sake of this example, lets say that the dots within the circles are positive numbers and the dots on the outside are negative numbers. Going across the page (top row) you have 1 + 1 = 2. The next row is 1 + -3 = -2 while the last row is 2 + -2 = 0 and hence "G" is the correct answer, anything else and the maths just doesn't add up.


In reference to the other question I posted earlier (the red squares that rotate clockwise), the answer is a clockwise pattern. Even though a spiral pattern is also a legitimate answer, it is considered wrong when it comes to scoring. Personally this peeves me, as it shows poor design from the person that created the test as there are two legitimate patterns, they must have only been able to see one pattern

Now that I've given away that many of these questions are actually basic maths, some of you might be able to get a higher score Post your results and let us know how you go.

well this test said 137, but ive had others say scores ranging from 139 to 152...but then again for young'uns like me (18...), the UAI is the best indication of not just IQ, but application as well in a range of subjects...

oh and by the way, the personality test just there said i was an "experimenter" and a "Dominant Introvert Abstract Thinker" which, in my opinion, is complete bs...oh well, lol its not like anyone takes those things seriously....

When it comes to IQ tests, it is not the score that matters but rather the percentile ranking.

Different IQ tests have a different number of questions and different ways to calculate the final score. So it could be possible to have an IQ of 130 on one test and 150 on another test.

Just like dyno readings, IQ numbers by themselves mean jack sh*t. Again, just like dyno readings, what does have substance and meaning is a comparison to a benchmark standard or others, from the same test.

If you ever do a proper IQ test, what you want to find out is not your score, but rather your percentile rating. The percentile rating is where you rank in reference to the general population, as a percentage. i.e. to get into Mensa you need to be in the 98th percentile or above (within the top 2%).

As we are talking about percentages, even if you did get two different IQ results from two different tests, as described above, you should still end up with roughly the same percentile ranking, and hence this is the true indicator to go by.

I'll do the personality test a little later, I know they use different terms, but the last one I did, I was a melancholic phlegmatic
