Hey,

Its a bit of a frankensteins monster. Made from the blood money of FTO members in their need for parts. Only paid 1.5K for it and ive probably spent another $300 on replacement panels. Time to give something back in the form of inspiration. Ill also be using this puppy for my test case body panel mods as well. Dont know whether ill get it to the point of autosalon. That would require some additional cash. Maybe I can find a sponsor or two....

Well and truely gone past the point of no return now!

Completely removed the parcel shelf and drilled out the spot welds. Also removed the rear glass and have cut out the rear beaver ready for the rear gate. Still need to do a bit of tidy up, but all in all faster than I would have thought. Have also started making the roll cage. The wife did a bit of welding for me this arvo. Havent got any pictures of that yet. Ill take a couple more if I manage to get it done tomorrow (Canberra day). Also got the go ahead for a checkerplate floor (yay).

Its already alive. I had a short drive this arvo. Must admit, visibility out the back has improved (for the moment)
By the way, may i ask how many fto's you have dstocks
1. Daily Driver
2. Silver FTO being complied. With any luck, I pick this up in the coming week
3. Ute
4. Simulator FTO - another project begging to be finished
5. adi_adi's old purple FTO - completely stripped and ready to be removed
6. white FTO with large hit on passengers side rear - mostly stripped
7. FTO wreck in Melbourne. Bought this one last week. Using this one to fix the damaged one Dave from work bought off me the week before.
