I think I might make some budget calculations. If they turn out all right, I'm in for the interstate cruise.

Well this cruise is now planned for the same date and last time it cost me and girl a couple of hundred bucks. The go karting was the most expensive thing and you dont have to do any of the activities.

Some people, like myself, don't have the luxury of taking multiple days off work, or even have a budget that allows them to drive across the state and pay for accomodation.

I should be able to make the 18th.

Ok so time to get the specifics sorted for everyone, from what Ive gathered, this is the plan:

Date: Sunday October 18th
When: Meet at Westfield at 9am?
Where: Westfield North Lakes to McGavin View Picnic Area North Pine Dam
Food: If we want a BBQ I think the best idea is if you bring something, you get to eat lol Its so much easier that way
*Should look something like this*

This is just what Ive gotten from the posts so far so if anyone disagrees just say so :)

Hmm, the Toowoomba Car Forum I'm also a member of also has a cruise planned that day. A bunch of them are heading to a classic Japanese car show in Strathpine, Brisbane.

I'm actually thinking about driving down with them... But might meet up with you guys later in the day?

Or, for something different, you guys could make the car show your destination for the cruise and come have a look.

That's the website for the event, if interested.

Im keen, but its up to you guys, its about the same time travelling so is no hassle for me :)

Or we could decide between those of us who show up on the day?

That actually looks quite cool - are our cars old enough though?!

Who'd be interested in setting up an FTOaust group entry?

Open to ALL Japanese vehicles – cars, bikes, trucks, 4WDS.
Originally aimed at pre 1980’s vehicles, the event is now open to all vehicles up to current models. Individuals, groups & Car Clubs are all welcome.
They've opened it up this year to all year model Japanese cars, which will make the day a little more exciting.

If my front bar arrives and I get my paint work sorted out in time, I'll be keen to throw some polish on it and line up with the club.
