LOL

I love how a set of 4 Rays coming out of Japan is only apparently only $200, but a front bar to Adelaide is $4-500

a regular parcel company is a hell of a lot more expensive than a container being pitched in by 10+ people
itt was 350 to ship my bar from sydney, and that was through one of dwaynes fiberglasser - so its going to be a bit darer for a regular joe to post one even further....

It cost me $600 to have my entire FTO transported from Sydney to Adelaide. If it's going to cost that much to send a single bar, buy a wrecked FTO over there for parts, chuck on the bar then send the car over here, then you have spare parts AND the bar ;)

Just a suggestion ;)

Plus I don't think us South Aussies are in need of many spare parts at the moment. But still $400-$500 to send a bar is stupid if it costs $600 for a WHOLE car...

$170 via E-go. With items like this, it's not the weight thats the killer, but the size. E-go also does door-to-door pickup and delivery, not something all freight companies will do.

Just to clarify, with E-Go you have to box it all up yourself, and that price was assuming a total packaged weight of about 20kg (should be around that, right?) It's not hard, just get a few big TV Boxes from Harvey Norman or JB-Hi Fi and you'll be set.
