I don't think it would be driven, I think it would be covered over and stored.

It would be driven at least once or twice, surely!

Doubt it in this case.
It's only as rare as someone values it.
On a global scale, this is simply a green fto...

I know Dwayne is after a daily, so I'm venturing this is his prospective.

IF I go down this path (and there is nothing definite yet), im sure I could arrange a little drive!

Got it in one. As much as id love to do the same thing as ive done with my Aero I dont have the cash or garage space for that and cant justify the costs associated with a car that isnt used . Im not at all sure ive got the cash to do this either mind you. This is quite a bit more expensive than my budget. I could buy pretty much any 2nd hand FTO for what this would cost.

I don't see an issue using this as a daily.

Possible even to car juggle?
Sell a few reserves to make up the difference?

Charity run, etc.

Going by the calculator, it puts it at abut 10K.
meanwhile, compliance usually incorporates tyres, so.... unsure the go with that being blank, or even there...

10K is old school money in aus for an fto now, that's how much the wifes cost 6 years ago.

Yeah and import monster has a few extra fees in there I think I can avoid by arranging myself, but I had about 5K saved and this will definitely be more than that. Just have to see what the figures come in at. Im not really in a hurry, so I suppose that is something (takes about 6 weeks to arrive at port), but have another iron or 2 in the fire, so will have to make a call fairly quickly me thinks.

Just charge people per view of your FTO at the bonfire, I'm sure you can raise a few bucks with that

Meanwhile, it would be a nice car to have as part of the club.

Well, looks like this isnt going to happen. I ordered it, my bid was accepted and I would not confirm the order without a chassis number. The chassis number they supplied matched a black GX, not a green GPX. When I questioned this, all went quite for a few days. Ive now been told that the green GPX has been reserved by someone else and ive just been offered a black prefacelift manual with the same number of kms instead. This is interesting seeing as they accepted my bid!. The one ive been offered looks like crap compared to the original. Would be surprised if the speedo wasnt wound back.

People, avoid Japan Partner like the plague. Its nothing but a scam to offload cars that they misrepresent. They were just unlucky enough to try and con someone that knows a LOT more about FTO's than they do.

That's really unfortunate mate. Was looking forward to having this car around.
