Also, welcome to the club

I was a Holden man before my FTO too, first car that's not a V8! You'll love it, I'll never look back now!

Already tried that while grabbing the red veil wing for Sahin from Phil's place by attaching it to my car. I should have taken some pics :P Made my black car go real slow.... :-P

Yeah, I sat in it this arvo, started her up...it was quite exciting...found that the exhaust had a baffle in it so I took it out...sounds much nicer now...a bit different from the v8 but I'm sure I'll get use to it...
I will ask this question though, it has tiptronic gears and I was wondering how that works...and when you'd switch over from just your normal drive...

Tiptronic is similar to manual in a way.
When you slip it over into tiptronic, you then control the gears - but without a clutch.

One thing I learned about the tiptronic mode is that you don't have to take your foot off the accelerator to shift up or down. And when I'm approaching a traffic light I just put it in Drive and let it downshift itself.

Lazy arse!!! :P
Grab a manual, keep downshifting and rev matching till you come to a stop or take off with the correct gear half way through downshifting. :)

How far do you get out of a tank?

Ive personally gotten 850 from a tank on the highway, usually about 600 around town (and thats pretty aggressive driving - i.e. always hit mivec a few times every drive)

From full tank got 620 kms of highway driving and Sydney city traffic (mix with spirited sprints of Mivec and raging with Vectose on the freeway) with the needle at the low mark without getting the low fuel light on. Took $70-$75 to fill up to full after that.
