Gearbox in a car bennoz, you're thinking of the wrong kind of box and shaft.. The one that involves lots of beer and dubious decisions is the wrong one.

Meanwhile, no clue when it comes to the real issue here.
Sorry.

I didn't know there is bolt there lol. I reached my finger behind that pipe and i felt the bolt. How the heck do we remove it? It's impossible to reach there with any tool

Looks to me like you have to remove the gear selector cable, the selector cable mount and then the sensor.

They are!

Euro cars suck to work on, that's why I sold my missess's V6 Vectra and bought her a Galant VR-4.

The Vectra is a Holden, but it is a re-badged German "Opel Vectra".
In the UK they are also re-badged as a "Vauxhall Vectra".

There isn't going to be a guide for every part on the car.

The workshop manuals should give you enough info to remove most parts of the car though.

Ok been trying to remove the selector cable. Not sure where to start. So i remove the air filter just to find out there were 3 bolts on the gear. Remove 1 bolt where it seems the cable were connected to but still unable to remove it. Im giving up.

Anyone knows where in brisbane i can get this fixed please?

There is a C clip on each of the cables that need to come out to get the cables off and out of the way first.

Single cable and single clip on autos.
Use bull nose pliers to remove it.

I changed one of them today and it took 5 minutes
Undo the two bolts holding down the selector cable bracket and push it aside to get to the input shaft sensor bolt
