And it still looks like a lancer :D
1-1.5 sec over a 1/4M is quite a lot.

Well, I had my car weighed at 1120kg without me in it.

Standard was supposed to be 990kg.

Now, the additions to it are, bigger brakes & wheels
Swaybars, strut braces, bodykit, FTO engine & gearbox and some sound deadening

I think, what you guys will find, is that an FTO weighs much more than the 1190 figure given from Mitsubishi. Because, Version R's, GPX's etc, they do not stand a chance in hell against my car, which isn't even running properly. Honestly, 1st gear and they are gone already.

I am hoping to shed about 50kg from the car though (carbon bits, light weight battery, hopefully lighter gearbox)

I think the car should definately be good for 12's with slicks, and if I stripped it, even with stock internals

Yeah, 1.5 seconds over a quarter is huge.
Think of the difference between a low 14 second car (not all that quick) and a mid 12 second car (pretty quick)

As far as it looking like a lancer... well, I like how mine looks, and in the end of the day when I am a few car lengths ahead, like I always said, you'd better start liking how the back of it looks :)

Here is a pic of it:

And here is a link to my dyno chart, only mods was a magna cat, and 2.5" mandrel exhaust

112 isn't bad...although a dyno graph is quite subjective. Man that would be fast...might even give me a shock in my R33... :P although once we are moving u have no chance hehehe

My FTO completely stripped for racing, 1 seat, no door cards, no centre console, no glove box etc… was 1200kg with me in it and I’m about 100kg, I’ve got over 300bhp at the wheels and my best is a 13.1 with 100bhp nos my best is 12.44 and that’s on drag radials. Knocking time off your ¼ mile isn’t that easy, and it is expensive.

SG, it's ok if I say that because in the end of the day I run the same engine as the FTO lovers here :)
I'm just lighter

But, if someone does have a stockish FTO and can go get it weighed at a weight station that would be interesting
