Noise at engine startup

I know the noise your talking about. Its not comming from the pully side and its not the tappets as they are distinctive.

Where is the MIVEC control valve? Maybe I'II check the manual. Mine only does it when its cold also...never when it hot or warm.

subbie owns a GR though.. so it cant be the mivec control valve
