Depends on the dyno, but i reckon around 130-145kwatw. If he boost it around 11psi, he might get around 150kwatw. But i doubt that he will take the risk of blowing an engine.
Those figures was base on what GPXXX had when he had it on 7psi and 11psi. Also GPXXX runs bigger injector, fuel pump, turbo and intercooler too

so thats pretty close ive been told standard fto is 100-110kw id be happy with 140kw then slowly doing more and more things to be able to increase psi slightly eg internals fuel system etc. Basically this is my thought process
1) Turbo Fto hopefully spending around 5k (getting 145kw)
2) Start upgrading internals for strengh to allow for more psi (not ridiculas though i dont want 300kw) Fuel system, brakes, and anything else that needs to be done (getting 155kw+)
3) Nitros Fto (getting ????)
My goal being around 200kw but anything over 175 or so i would be happy with
am i dreaming????????
AND DONT ANYONE DARE MENTION MONEY. I KNOW THE PRICE INVOLVED AND I DONT CARE

145kwatw is a very very very optimistic figure, like i said, i base that on GPXXX turbo FTO with larger turbo blah blah blah (just read the post above) And thats still not 50kw increase, because GPXXX FTO was originally running 112kwatw, so its only 33kwatw increased. Both figures from the same dyno as well, so no funny business like some dyno result. (I've seen a complete stock FTO pull 120kwatw at dyno, but on the road its slower then most member's FTO)
Don't get me wrong, i'm not try to put you off, i just don't you to have an unrealistic kw figure in mind when you set out with just initial 5k.
HKSFTO pulls around 120-130kwatw and his setup is also cost a lot more then redline's
Don't forget they both are GPX not GR.
Anyway what you going to do about torque steer, its all good when you get lots of power, but if you can't get them on the road, its good as useless.

*Wonders what Ben's supercharger figures would be once the project is finished*

Ben's got different internal, so it shouldn't blow up like all the other one before
I wonder which is faster, his mini or his fto with supercharge. I bet my money on the mini

If the Toe pulls a 12.89 quarter I'll be very surpised!
And lets just say my $1400 forged rods aint in the best of shape after the 'incident' lol
Got another charger going on Ebay atm that I've got bids on. Its a smaller unit that Im gonna bolt onto my current engine for mild boost & possibly the 'kittable' charger setup. If I manage 140-145 atw I'll be happy. More interested in what kind of Nm's she'll pull thou...

ya I would be looking for a decent increase in Nms...give u some extra take off...thats what the FTO lacks.

FTO has the takeoff its just the torque it lacks afterwards i reckon..it beats the ITR for take off and that does a 14s 1/4 iirc.
i'm still going for a nitro set up for my car when i get enough money to do it - i've got a new steering wheel with nitro buttons ready on it and everythin

dont ask me how its gonna be set up though...
but it shouldnt cost more than 2-3k im hopin...

Well if you can imagine even gaining an extra 50nm of torque and retaining the stock weight then it'll add a whole new dimension to the FTO vs DC5R argument.

There is one?

I just thought what ever you spend or do to a FTO, you can half that with a DC5R and get the same result if not better
Joel lets go and take rnbboi's DC5R apart

That can be arranged actually! Let's ask him to bring the Teggy on the Wednesday dinner meet!
