I just did em till what I thought was right? Just hard as f**k

Snapped the new bolts when trying again lol almost gave up on life.. Almost.
Got over it, went and bought more. And after a few more attempts only torqued the bolts to 30nm. Got the fucker in.

Bolts are too loose better take it back out and retighten

To fit the drive shafts do I just slot it in and the boot basically hold its on

.? Or do they lock in somehow?

There's a snap ring on the driveshafts that "hold" them in.

I haven't fitted the shafts yet.. I fucked the cv joints when I put them on. I'm just wondering about how the shafts go on.. They tap in yes?

Umm the drive shaft nuts won't screw on, due to the end of the cv joint looking like a mushroom, due to the big hammer I used to smash em on.

But that's not the issue here. I threw them out cos I couldn't stand looking at them reflecting my stupidity . And bought new ones. I just wanted to know about re fitting the shafts to the gearbox

Ok so I sledge hammer the shafts into the gear box lol

I'm only asking because they basically fell out when I removed them, seemed they were only being held in by the boots
