Did my effen lifters again.
I noticed something while changing them though! If you pry the rocker arm off the lifter then let go of the rocker if you hear a tap the lifter has had it. Managed to find 4 lifters that did this which sounded about right!

Used it as a barricade for the City2Surf. Also pulled apart my newly broken CV. Thought I'd done the shaft, but instead took a little cleaning to work out what had happened:
Also, finally got some decent side protection for the beast. Xrox Sliders with Hi-lift jack points in them. I can now comfortably lift the entire side of the vehicle with my hi-lift under these
Old sidesteps vs. New Sliders:

Yep. Fraz is going to have a go at it, if I can source an alternator. Chris might have one but he's not back until 21st. How painful is it to take out?

Yeah, and unless the 'do' has grown back, he won't have an obstacle for his head to fit in the bay.
Fingers crossed it solves the issue.
Definitely always seemed like the Alt.

"the do" hasn't grown back, I'm keeping it short now as working under cars daily makes an absolute mess of hair. Easier to keep it short when it comes to washing all the crap out of it
