Replaced the genuine battery with an Optima D27F Yellow Top. 27kg of battery. 8O

Re-located the catch-can to the other side of the engine bay. Now have some breathing space on the passenger side, so can hopefully set-up and under-bonnet dual battery. Then just have to run the wiring to the tray for the third one. 8)

Am hoping to get it set-up by the bonfire so I can pump out tunes all day long without the battery going flat.

Yup.

One will be a removeable unit to run a fridge/TV/whatever I want at a campsite. This will charge via a plug-set in the tray, and will be bolted down for travelling. The other two will be hard-wired into the engine bay so that any aftermarket accessories can run while the car is off (hooked into the Aux battery), while still being able to be linked up to run the car radios (UHF and AM/FM) for extended periods of time without having to start the car. 8)

Enough about tritons, this is an FTO site!

What lawso fails to mention was that in both instances the puddle was about 3-4ft deep, and was more of a mud-hole than a puddle.

Fun-fact: Mitsubishi Alternators don't like mud.

Alternator is rated at 90A, however if I really want to I can upgrade it to a 275A monster. The standard one will do, just a matter of getting the linking process done properly so that the battery charging sequence is staged. ;)

Nothing wrong with going completely over the top, happens a lot, especially on this forum
