So yesterday I hand built an indicator assembly from some Magna parts & a bench grinder for the missus car, as it had snapped.
Let me just say, F#CK that. Never again lol.
I eventualy made a complete working unit... minus the indicator cancellor

Please do!
I don't have a lot of faith in my frankenindicator. I was just to get the missus to work in snoor today, because I'm pinching her work car to tow the mini to the dyno shop.
f**ken, lets move the FTO to get the FTO to get to the Outlander to get to the mini...

Finally grabbed the unmolestered rear parcel tray to fit in.
Had to cut out the portion where the rear wiper is, so have yet to fit.
also need to find a heap of those pop clips for the underside of it.

I have a balls load from owning a heap of Magnas, simply a matter of finding the box.
Plus would like the back seat assembled and left that way for the drive.
Car already looks in a sorry state with the paint

If I was lazy I would not be fixing the parcel shelf that rattles like a bugger.
The paint is a factor of the car sitting in the street never being driven.... until I do.

You should invest in a car cover if it really isnt being driven much

Sick of everything being such an expense to fix or replace, so I made a *temporary* gaitor

Didn't turn out too bad considering how much my sewing machine
hated going through 2 layers of leather

That's pretty good! You'll end up getting a few orders with that price, at least cover your material costs

That's pretty good actually.
I had my wife make me a really thin material gator for the wagon years ago, sadly I measured wrong

The advantage of being a bit of a pack rat ... I used to make leather armbands and such years ago so I still have a bag full of off cuts in various shades and textures
