Re: Jack's FTO GR
So the suspension's all installed!
Only thing is I can't really take it for a solid run because a) stupidly wet weather and b) wheel alignment is so far out it's not funny and Tim will be doing an alignment once the engine bay's done!
Engine bay starts at the end of next week... Let the countdown begin

Re: Jack's FTO GR
UPDATE:
So the motor's been out for a fair while now... Here's a list of what's been done... Pics to come!!
- Tappets replaced
- Sanded & polished upper engine mount, injector rail, AC piping, thermostat tower, front heat shield, strut brace
- New rocker cover fitted
- Engine bay primed, base coated & cleared
- Replaced conduit tubing
- Repaired various frayed wiring issues
- Detail cleaned all engine components
- Replaced old & rusted bolts/washers/nuts etc
LOTS more to do but perhaps with a little luck, time and effort; the car will be back on the road by mid next week.

Well here she is...
- Phantom black paint with gold metallic flake
- Everything's f**king shiny
- Replaced all fluids, filters & broken sh*t
Runs like a dream! So quiet and smooth! I think I've fallen back in love with my car, just the way it should be. <3
...There's one final surprise coming in a fortnight and it's something to froth over... SO KEEN.

There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others
