Guys I cannot believe the car has not sold.
OK for $19500 you get a car worth $10k.
$35k worth of upgredades.
A spare set of rims and tyres.
A few other assorted spares.
306 kw at the front wheels.
Acceleration you would not believe.

Priceless.

I was considering it but want to buy a house soon :(

For those of you that are maybe interested but are worried about Insurance it really isn't too bad if you are over 25 with a decent driving history. It would be between $900-$1300 I would say with Just Cars which is a great deal for an amazing car like this!

Jeff does it have a boost controller? Any guess to what sort of quarter mile time it would do?

+1 this car cost only an extra 5-7k over a GPvR. Good bang for buck - this beast would fly around a track

Well my reason was becuase I had already spent a whole lot of money on paint and body kit etc. Plus it's fun to be able to build something your self, take pride in your own work and be proud to say that "I" built it. I enjoyed the project so much that i am already planning the next bigger and harder one.

Yea for you I figured it was cos of all the money you'd already spent. I know exactly what you mean about doing everything yourself but in this one case, if I was after a turbo FTO I'd be buy this quick fast, cos I'd probably never have that insane amount of money to throw into it.

It's a shame he hasn't sold it yet :?

Hi all.
Still for Sale.
To King James, Yes it does have an electronic boost controller. I drive it arround town on 7 psi. Very occassionally I turn the boost up to 14 psi, and on the dyno I have set it to 16 psi. ( 306 kw atw.) Even on 7 psi I have managed to light up the tyres in all gears.
As per the 1/4 mile. I have never run it down the 1/4, after the turbo work. I am just not a good enough driver, I cannot change gears quick enough. I have told by enough people that it should be a 12 sec car. Given a good driver a set of slicks, and I am sure it would get into the low 12`s.

As for some of the other comments above, It is nice to work on your baby, a make a project of it. But unless you are a mechanic, I would not recomend it. The amount of time your car is getting things fabricated it takes forever and a lot of money. For those who have not read the saga of this project, I went to a well known performance workshop, stated I wanted a bit of extra performance and had a budget of $10k. They said it could be done and it would take 6 weeks. Some 12 months and $30k later I took possession of a monsterous 306kw beast. Trust me anyone who has undertaken a turbo conversion will probably tell simular stories.
So to anyone thinking of turboing their car, dont. Buy mine instead.

ebay listing ended early because the item is no longer for sale, assuming it's because someone has bought it, because it has been for sale for ages :)

Hi all,
I took the car off ebay early, because a local club member met the reserve price and paid the deposit.
I always wanted to keep the car in the club, and prefered Qld.
I`ll post when the car has changed hands.
