UPDATE 12/8 P.M.
* Leisel Jones has won her first individual Olympic gold medal
in the 100m breaststroke after CHOKING in both Athens and Sydney.
Bout freakkin time Leisel!!!
* synchronized swimming is still *~dreamy~*
* in un-related news, after being hospitalized with severe depression,
Schapelle Corby was all smiles as she enjoyed a games day at her Bali jail.
Game's included - "Pass the Parcel-full-of-hash", "Pin the Tail on the Drug Mule"
and Musical Chairs, except instead of chairs.... prison guard's faces

* our aussie horse riders won the silver medal in the equestrian team jumping event.
apparently sitting on a horse classes you as 'an athlete' these days,
gee i wonder why obesity rates are sky rocketing?
* no, the horses do not get a medal
* in un-related news, Melbourne City Council is currently reviewing a proposal
to build a beach on the banks of the Yarra.
Guiness Book of Records were notified and have created the
category of "World Largest Kitty-Litter Tray" in case it is approved.

winning the 200m individual medley in world-record time.
She better be careful... if she wins too many gold medals she'll turn *~delightful!~*.

after crashing his Toyota Supra into an Honda Civic being driven by an 80 year old woman.
The bad news.... they managed to free him from the wreckage.
