Question, is the 10000k brighter than the stock lights? I want something a lot more brighter but also with a bit of color :)

I am interested in these although I'm a touch hesitant as aren't HID illegal?
(However I'm pretty sure they are exactly what I want), and are they easy to install, do they come with instructions? (haha I know, I'm a noob). or maybe someone has or could put a DIY up?
Also these will fit a pre-facelift model won't they?
Finally will it look retarded just getting low beam HIDs and leaving stock highs?

P.S. how do you adjust your lights and/or know how they should be adjusted..

Wow.. only a few questions.. :P haha

They are not legal, but this is based on cars that don't have projector headlights. FTO's have the projector headlights, but HID's are taken out at compliance. Given the amount of whit/blue bulbs I doubt you will get defected..
bass_twitch wrote:(However I'm pretty sure they are exactly what I want), and are they easy to install
I believe they are very close to plug & play
bass_twitch wrote:do they come with instructions? (haha I know, I'm a noob). or maybe someone has or could put a DIY up?
I think they had some form of instructions..
bass_twitch wrote: Also these will fit a pre-facelift model won't they?
Yes they will
bass_twitch wrote: Finally will it look retarded just getting low beam HIDs and leaving stock highs?
Nope.. This is what most people do... In fact my FTO is like that, and the Evo will be the same..
bass_twitch wrote:P.S. how do you adjust your lights and/or know how they should be adjusted..
There are screws to adjust the levels on the light itself..
bass_twitch wrote:Wow.. only a few questions.. :P haha
I have seen people ask more ... Lol...

@ Bass twitch, personally mate, I would get both low beam and high beam (and that is what I did do). Its not that it looks crap but more to do with the hid'd totally rending your standard high beam bulbs nearly useless due to there brighness. That is what I found anyway.

@ Rock it, You can answer everyone else question but mine??

It's just a matter of budget I think, as I am still a student, so I'll see what price we are going to be looking at and go from there I guess.. HID lows and highs I imagine would be pretty bright... haha
I just can't stand the brightness of my current lows even after I've done my restoration...
So if I go highs as well I should go for a whiter colour hey?

^^ alternative for hid is in the DIY section, where one would use high beam bulbs on the low beam housing with modification to the bulb socket..

Cause it means I gotta pull my car apart to get to the headlight and see what size bulb ... lol .. Just haven't had the motivation yet... I still have the lower skirt to put back on the Evo front bar ... It has been sitting in the garage for about 3 weeks now ... lol ...

Gee, last time I do you a favour and answer questions for you ... :pig: ....
