It will need the injectors doing and spark plugs but it's safe to run now.

On 5 lbs it made 121atwkw
On 9lbs it made 134 atwkw
They think that it'll be good for 160kw once injectors are flushed out etc.

Not massive numbers but I wasn't expecting to break any records either. It's a lot better than the 98kw's my old one used to make though.

OMG!

So on the phone I got given the figures above but when I got down there I saw all of the runs they had done, over 25 I'd say. Ranging from 81 - over 150.

It's currently tuned nice and safe and I'm able to give it a good poke.

Green is 5psi and red is 9psi, and what a difference it makes!!



They say that on 9 psi it drops the power suddenly (and you can see that) but I can't notice it when I'm driving. It might be to do with the Mivec but they are certain that they can smooth it out to make 160 easily and then look at running up to 16psi. We'll see about that.

On the drive home I gave it a few squirts at 5psi and I could really tell the difference and had a smile all over my face. Closer to home I found myself at the front of the lights and thought that I'd give 9psi a go to see if I could tell the difference...

f**king hell! What a difference! Wheels spinning and neck snappingly quick now. I love it!

I've spent $1000 on it this week and man, can I say that it was money well spent!

That dip is right on mivec change over point, did they look at oil psi at all during the run?
It may be finding it hard to change over to the mivec cams.

Not sure, they didn't say and I didn't look to much at the graphs while I was there so didn't notice at it was right on the cam change over. I'm heading out for little bit now then have to pack the car and get to bed, early start tomorrow and I'm already knackered!
