I thought in the manual it says that if it's flashing at 1hz then it's could be one ofthe sensors?

With a flashing N lamp there are two possibilities of what it could be.

If it flashes at 1Hz, once a second, then it will be either,

Input speed sensor
Output speed sensor
Solenoid valve
Out of phase at shift points
A/T control relay system

If it flashes at 2Hz, twice per second, the ATF temperature is too high and you should stop to allow it to cool down.

The above applies only when you are NOT activly looking for codes if I remember correctly.

That is, car has slipped into limp mode and is flashing all on its own.

Nope.. its not the sensors guys..

Again started it up and put it in drive and it just revs and very very slowly moves forward (actually i dont know if moves coz of the gear box or because of the slight angle on my driveway)

Is it safe to assume that the gearbox has had it?

I thought 2HZ so two flashes a second meant no codes when in diagnosis mode? 2HZ during a drive is overheating??

What colour is the oil?? Is it at the right level? Seems like your torque converter has had it.

Yeah did an oil change for it last week when it stuffed up.. yeah i think is the torque converter too. Even on a bad oil the gearbox should still get to firs gear. correct?

Well if your oil was not red when you changed it, I can only imagine your torque converter rippings itself to shreds causing your oil to burn. Take a sniff of your oil and see if the oil smells burnt.

My last rebuild cause no drive. It was like I was in neutral and could not get any drive at all. Transmission guy showed me my torque converter and it was not a good sight.
