took it in to my exhaust specialist today, for $80 he removed the catalytic converter, and the rear sausage muffler thing.
then bought a pod filter.
Sounds awesome now!

Hmm...so stock box minus the top cover..and stock pipe connecting the pod and the TB? Isn't the pod now sucking in hot air from the engine bay? Also is that a 4 inch pod or a 3 inch?
Did you do anything to the front intake of the car feeding the box?

4" pod, stock lower box.
I'm planning on making a shroud to go around the sides of the box in the next few weeks :)

Nice. which pod did you go for? El-Cheapo or any good brand? I am thinking of picking up a K&N and making my own TB-to-Pod pipe tomorrow :P

The alarm gets shipped out today :D
I had to wait a few days for the International Bank Transfer to go through :(
Today I also bought a boot release actuator so I can operate the boot from the remote :D
As well as some reed switches to make a circuit so that the remote start will not kick in with the car in gear :)

My package finally arrived :D
Viper 5904 Remote start alarm, two stage shock sensor, digital tilt sensor, Dual zone microwave sensor, Battery backup Siren, and window automation system :)
Not at all over the top for a car worth 5K :p

Also Installed this Sony head unit, it will do for now.
I just wanted something with AUX, and USB as I was sick of not having it.
It will do until I have the money to upgrade to an Alpine unit.
