Haven't really done much this week.
- Fixed roof rust
- Fixed veilside bumper
- Replaced rear bumper
- Fixed side skirt
- Replaced passenger fender
- Fixed wiring problem in headlights
- Replaced all globes
- Detail-cleaned engine bay
- Began air-box construction
- Sanded/polished new headlight lenses
- Sanded half of car to bare metal
I think I need to do more. This isn't enough for one week. :l

This
I've already got the LED strips wired into the foggys,...
I've got a switch, just want to be able to turn them on and off separately to every thing else when I want to..
Battery is in the boot, so it's going to be annoying running more wire from there aswell

You can do them 1000 ways! Know dc and you will be able to do do it all sorts of ways. You will need a seperatate circuit for the lights.
No need just relay the fog supply, you should be doing th t anyway as it's only a matter of time the switch melts.

My shitbox developed a weird problem yesterday, fortunately I was able to solve it fairly quickly with the help of my tuner.
It starterd spluttering as if it had dropped a cylinder, so I started pulling plugs off the Bosch coilpacks & low & behold, found
2 coilpacks that weren't firing. Thought the likely hood of 2 coilpacks failing at the one time was pretty unlikely, so we traced the signal upstream to the igniter packs. The Haltech sends the firing signals to the igniters (also Haltech brand) which in turn amplify the signal before sending to the coil packs. Popped the 2 plugs off the pair of igniters (each one covers 3 coil packs) & found a few of the pins with a bunch of light corrosion. Cleaned them up, dab of WD40 on the pins, reassembled, she fired first go.
Every day's a school day, don't cover your igniters in degreaser & water when cleaning your engine bay

Had a similar problem with the Magnas optical dizzy.
Get some coax seal and wrap the join.
Will stay water and air tight and won't permit ingress and corrosion.
Costs about $13 (maybe cheaper

) at any good *cough* Jaycar *cough* store.

Me thinks the igniters are cooked!

Trying to fix stutter on mine atm, changed coilpacks, changed terminals and cleaned grounds.
Happens on idle and all the way through Mivec, sounds like a 2stroke that hasn't hit band in a while.

Washed the black PITA c**t this morning.
Also washed my GR project car.
Paint looked almost matte black when I first rinsed it because of all the dust and crap.
Had flakes of paint on the sponge and I thought for a second that the paint on the whole car was fucked, but then realised it was just on the front lip which I already knew. Result achieved.

Fixed again
Was a combo of poor connections, another bad earth story. The earth line that bolts to the gearbox, on the other end bolts to the chassis rail near the fusebox. Corroded to the shithouse. Cleaned & fired first go.
