Spewing! Even just those hoses are a PITA rather than the core itself. Bugger.

Argggg, failed again. A bit of colour fade due to over stretching with insufficient heat. Worst part is I have put it all back together. So will have to pull it all apart again another time.

Also failed with the angel exes on the VW foglights. Took bumper off to rewire to a switch instead of parkers, unattached wire and put it all back together and the bloody thing is still working off the parkers. Ive missed something. Not had a good couple of days...

Haha thats nothing compared to me.

I degassed my aircon to replace heater core pipes with the brass ones, Got it all in and everything, idled the car for a good 30mins and revved it and stuff while the evaporator was out so i could get a look.

No leaks so I thought all sweet! Wacked it all back together with new heatercore rubber pipes as well.

Regassed the aircon.

Drove all the way back to Toowoomba from Brisbane approx 1.5 hour drive. Went to bed because it was late and id been at the heatercore all day.

Next day decide to wash my car, think hmmm might check the passenger side footwell for leaks, BAMMM f**king COOLANT ARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I think i was stewing with anger and feeling sh*t for a good 5 hours today.

Have to buy a new heatercore as it must have a pin prick leak.

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x
Ive had that happen believe it or not (twice :x ). I feel your pain...

So I've been driving around with the rear bar on for a week or so now, but with no lighting for the numberplate it's illegal.

So today I set up an LED strip to illuminate it, just a temporary measure for the time being.

Thats a neat idea. Most of the others are using LED motorcycle bolts.

Should be more scared of oil pickup issues with a sump damaged like that.

Errr, you are going to have trouble with insurance for those brake lines Toby. They have to be ADR approved. So you should have bought from HEL Australia.

But they are HEL UK. Dont they have to have the ADR compliance labels on them and arent these only available from HEL Australia? Stupid thing is they are probably the same part made in the same factory.

I did click the link. And as Dwayne said, HEL uk won't have the adr stamp on them while when you buy them from HEL aus you do. Had to go though this sh*t for my previous bike which had HEL uk lines, had to pay extra for the same products just to have the ADR stamp from HEL Australia.

Stupid rules. Same thing with helmets.
