Gave the FTO a wash and vaccuuummmm, it's first wash since the bonfire

Took it for a 30 min drive, it's first drive since the bonfire

Now it's back under it's fancy red show room car cover in my giant man cave ;)

Never thought I'd say this but I wash my car way more often than you! 8O (Mind you, I do it at work with the pressure washer and awesome cleaner we have 8) )

So... when's the SA bonfire happening?

I used to wash it moar when it was my daily, and I have been so busy with the VR4 and holidaying in WA that this is the first opportunity Iv'e had to give it a wash.

Unsure when the SA bonfire will be planned, don't know if I should do it here or wait to see if I end up with an acreage?

EDIT: FYI, I can't and won't pressure wash mine, I would wash off the chicky babe

Just befriend a local farmer and use his land, if we're lucky he might even have a saltlake on his property :P
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

I love pressure washing mine. It makes it so so so easy to keep the engine bay clean! Bit of toilet cleaner (yes, we use toilet cleaner to wash cars - it works really well actually!) does wonders and the gurney makes it really easy to keep metal creases on the rails and firewall clean.

Oh and I also have some new shiny wheel nuts to go on when I can be bothered and I think I'm about ready to start painting all my little bits and pieces orange :D

Strut brace mounts, rocker covers (undecided if I want orange, black or chrome? Black would look good but wouldnt be able to see leaks so thinking orange), custom painted intake manifold (spoken to Aza briefly about it) engine cover and brake calipers will be about it for now. Any more and I think it will be too much. But anyway, not done yet so will update when it is :D

Paint or powder-coat?
I got some bits in my car powder-coated, looks great, and doesn't cost much either!

Not too sure yet. Brakes just caliper paint DIY style, I think I was sorting something out with Aza a few months ago about the manifold. Engine cover I will get done professionally along with the strut brace when I get my rear bar sprayed I suppose. Need to look into it a bit more.

When I was replacing one of the rocker covers on the K8 engine in my old Mazda We dropped a bolt down there once we had put the engine back together....
