So over the past couple of weeks, I've sacrificed the skin on my hands and pretty much the entirety of my fingernails

Great work on the polishing :thumright:
It looks like it could do with a little more work with a 1800-2000 wet and dry.
But over all looks good.

Nothing exotic like replacing a steering rack or gearbox, I just replaced a rear tail light; but hey, it had to be done :) Thanks Sahin.

bought another one, as you do...

Auto GS, $550 couldn't say no to that!
Going down tomorrow morning to pick it up.
We're probably going to strip most of the interior, and use the rest for autocross etc as it's been de-registered and would cost a fair bit to get on the road again :(

Picked up the new car :)

scrubs up alright, was extremely filthy when we picked it up:

Has a few bad parts, it's had a rear ender at some stage, as evident by crumpling in the boot lining, but it's very straight on the outside.

Little bits of rust in the odd spot, but nothing major that we can see, and no roof rust.

rear driver's side brake calliper is leaking like crazy and needs new gaskets, so it currently has no brake fluid....

interior is very messy, but we will clean that up in the next few days.

oh, and it used to be silver....
