You're crazy mate... turbos aren't everything... and its not about waiting 7 years, is about waiting for the right one. collectors items need b to be in good low k condition.
On my way to go look at it now
Turbos are everything lol

Okay,
so it wasnt there.
I spoke to Mitchell, who has been working there for about 4 months,
The car was off getting detailed so i didnt have a chance to inspect it first hand.
Someone named Sanjay(?) put a $50 deposit on it on tuesday but they havnt heard from him since so he said if i put a grand down they can consider it sold to me...
after speaking to him thats what im gonna do pending an inspection from me. just getting my finances sorted and i should be able to pull the trigger tomorrow... unless this sanjay guy shows up...
he also linked me to this video of the original owner selling the car back to them... its a genuine car boys!

The good old "someone put a deposit on it but we haven't heard back" trick.
I am sure they would not have accepted anything less than $500 for a deposit if legit.

Bleurgh I hate that Edward lees on parramatta road...
Went in to look at that red GR in the background of the video a few months ago and said I was having a look at it on behalf of a mate (lawso) and that I just saw it while driving past and wanted to have a quick look to let him know more about the car..
Literally told me "tell your mate to come look at it" in an annoyed tone. Bastards.

To be fair, I highly doubt you guys would be posting up the abundance of unhappy customers/unhappy potential customers for all to see.
Not necessarily you personally, but some of your guys have a terrible attitude towards customers and I understand now why you guys have such a tarnished reputation.
Again, that's not a reflection of you personally, that's just based on my first hand experience as a potential customer with the company. Although I do have the name of the "salesman" on the back of the business card he gave me if you're interested in cutting down employee numbers.

Apparently
P.S. I don't mean to come off as a dick, and pardon the pun, but it's a two way street.

Did for me. Was looking at buying a Legnum from there, couldn't get one person to get me inside one I was eyeing up.
Would have been sold if I got in, but bought the RVR days later instead. oh well.
Meanwhile, Aza bought his FTO there, and I believe Dwayne bought his legnum there.
Hit and miss...
To the topic at hand.
Good luck Schumie.

In short, business really needs to be evaluated and you guys need to plan to retain customers for life. Had I been given a good experience there I would be inclined to go through them while importing my future 7 and/or Galant.
But, no. Not now.
Having been in customer service since as soon as I was old enough to work... low standards.

Hey guys, thank you your feedback.
I dont disagree with you but just ask that I get a chance to prove I can do better? Is that fair?
Cheers Mitch

Well........
When I was looking for my 2nd FTO for my misses, about 2 years ago, we found ourselves at Edward Lees. We asked 2 salesman, both of whom were sitting on outside chairs and didn't even give us the courtesy of getting up, a few questions and all that we got out of them was yes/no answers. They didn't even offer to show us any of the cars in stock. My misses and I walked away from there totally discusted.
BTW, we had $8000 cash in an envelope to spend on a car for my misses at the time.
