tryed to replace fuel filter but think they gave me the wrong 1. even when tightened so tight that the ends of the new fuel filter bent a couple of mm's it leaked.

the thread length looked different. they gave me 2 washers but they were small, they wernt supposed to go in the smaller end of the filter were they? the pipe was flanged at the end so it shouldent have leaked if it was the right 1 yeah? even with the old filter back on their is thread exposed (drivers side) on the nut with the external thread on it

big side uses the washers
washer pipe washer bolt
make sure theres no washers still stuck to the bolt or pipe

nah it works great with the old fuel filter, its just the new 1 leaks. the side with the smaller nut has no washer on it though.

yeah but i put the new 1 in and it just leakeed from the side with the smaller nut, it was a black ryco filter and had several positions for the larger fuel line end to sit (looks like a crown) brought from supercheap. only used 1 washer on the big end but used the old washer because the 2 they supplied me were tiny and wouldent fit over either of the threads

Today I put in a new head unit with full blue tooth, USB. Also put in a hands free for the phone all with in the head unit.
Only took about an hour to do.
I can even make calls via the head unit :D it may be old tech but hay I'm an old man so I am not right up there with the new gizmos

The bottem one isn't tight enough then
Benzo told me to cut a closed ring spanner and that worked really well
Mine was leaking as well but a cut spanner on the small side and washer pipe washer bolt on the big side and it was all good
Just take the bolt to the hardware store and pick up 2 small copper washers that will fit
