I just cracked 222,222!! It was awesome.

Just a heads up, parts are about 500 all up from Camskill, 1400 from Mitsubishi...that 980 will get you through parts at least. If Tim wasn't in hibernation mode it would've covered install too haha.

The only sad thing is It'll be ages before I see another palindrome! Do you have a list of everything that you got?

And yeah. I think I'm going to have send him a text and see what he reckons I should do. It's not a very convenient time of the year (or a weatherly pleasant one) for me to be taking up one of his weekends. Still undecided if I just want to service, or pick up a lower km engine. I called about one that a place had earlier this year, which I think they still have. IIRC it had about 74,000kms on it... but it was $950 so eh... might try and haggle. But if I do get another one as well, then it would be silly not to do the major service anyway since it's out of the car.

Keep ya tits to yourself Sidds.

Also, at some point I also have enough things to do for a DIY day, haha. Need to polish the headlights, and now I'm getting a not insignificant amount of condensation in the left one. And even though I don't want to mess up the pretty good alignment, get the bar off so I can put the flexible pipes to the pod in. And some mesh in the fog light holes at the same time.

[quote="dstocks"]Had a few sleepless nights knowing you were going to be driving it that far.

Haha...that's not a big trip for an FTO...try Hobart to Bundaberg then Bundaberg to Cairns ;-)

Nice looking car...congratulations :-)

Cheers FTOdream. Car is slowly but surely getting better.

Picking it up was the longest trip I've done alone. And I was silly and did it in one day. my parents weren't impressed, haha.
