Sorry if I sound rude and all, but it seems to me that you're braggin about your car way too much.
Majority of people in here have an FTO so we all know what it's about so no need to go on and on about how great your car is. We know that it's your first car and it's great I'm happy for you, just don't brag about it everyday.
Just my opinion.

agreed, but congrats on the alarm, i have a M80G also and its a great system, just beware of the plastic bonnet sensor, have a tendancy to snap if they arent positioned correctly.
seriously everyone, leave him alone, hes proud of his car, good for him, and as for bragging about it.... why not? hes proud of it... and this is the right place to be proud of it.... but also alarms dont really belong in the In Car Entertainment section.

My car makes some european hatchback sing every morning I start up and drive out of the undercover parking

first it warns me to "please step away from the vehicle" ... then it breaks out in a wonderful melody that I can't begin to type... Apparently 10m away is too close for that petty little car

lol... yeh i got microwave field sensor on mine too... but mines set to around 50cm of the cars surface.... no more key scratches or dints...
but it doesnt go off.... but gives a few warning chirps

If someone wants to key your car an alarm isn't going to stop em. How many people actually go and check out what's happening when they hear someone elses alarm going off?
I have to go and sharpen my keys now.

Not unless you have that famous flame thrower alarm system that everyone shows pictures of all the time

No alarm is full proof, if they want your car and they're pro's your car is gone

if i hear my alarm go off i check on it... before i had it it copped 2 sizable dints in door thanks to some f**kers... if had my alarm i wouldve heard it and beat the snot out of em. i was furious the next morning..bought alarm very next day... best money ever spent... not a dint since.. not a scratch.. even if its to let people know its alarmed and to f**k off..

Yeah I see what you saying but if happens say while you're at the movies there ain't nothing you can do about it. Nothing worse than coming back to your car and finding your alarm has been off I then feel paranoid and have to check the car. Most of the time it's just a loud exhaust.

i 2nd that.. as do most people im sure... people view these forums for several reasons:
1. To find out information they didnt know that is interesting
2. To ask for help with a problem they have
3. To show off something they have thats unique
If you want to post something that doesnt belong in those categories feel free... but just put it in the gibberish section... Trust me u can post anything in there and no-one would care.. well almost anything. but when someone clicks on the "ICE" section they expect to see threads like:
"which speakers are best for the front?"
"my Cd player wont work"
"does dynamat make a difference"
the fact you got an alarm not only doesnt belong in this section (however i can see the cunfusion) but i cant think of anyone who could benifit from reading it. in fact i think it's safe to say that you've wasted a lot of peoples time by them reading it. If people want to waste their time they go to the gibberish section... so next time before posting, think will your post benifit anyone? even yourself... if the answer is no, just put it in the gibberish section and everyone will be happy... if u put it in there and anyone complains just tell them it is the gibberish section after all.
Just some friendly advice. Good to see you being very active however. just keep it relevant mate..
