Okay i've always had an obbsesion with flames coming out my exhaust... it just looks cool... anyway as far as i can tell, basically, using a sparkplug and ignition coil, at your exhaust tip, the spark ignites any leftover fuel the engine didnt burn... sounds simple enough... but my question is, with all these highly tuned cars (FTO) why is there any leftover fuel? i wouldve thought they'd be using every drop? if this would work on my fto i'd do it... will it make a difference with turbo? i.e my car runs richer right? please feel free to shed some light here

You need a separate feed to the exhaust to fuel the flame,
No production car is that poor in fuel efficiency.
Unless you run it really rich, when unburnt fuel would be your least concern there

Anyone remember that black FTO that has it a few years ago on the national cruise? And i was trying to burn a tree stick while he step on it?

I dunno... flames near my paint... assuming the flames blew around a bit ... maybe I'm just paranoid.

yeha... but so are CF bonnets.. and tinted tail lights.. and interior neons... but i got them too.. i would rarely ever use it ... that blue flame is awesome... how do i get it????

personally i reckon the flame thrower kits would be useful for those idiots who like to tailgate hehe !

i dont trust this.... it basically says if your car is fully functional then they cant garantee anything (if your car has a fully functional cat then they cant garantee blah blah blah)

i'm going to search around for the next 20mins on the net for something similar

always thought they were cool, especially for scaring the crap out of tailgaters lol (when u live in sunnybank, its amazing how many ppl will sit 1.5m off your ass with their 2/3 tone 4WDs lol)

i was trying to look for something that has it's own feed (something that doesnt depend on unburnt fuel that comes through the exhaust, and doesnt require a feed from my fuel tank... something that takes it's own flamable liquid/gas, something completely indipendent of it all) but couldn't find it.

does someone else wonna have a look for something like that? i'm willing to put it in a fake exhaust tip (figured it'll work better and safer)

When i take my car to the tuners tomorow i might ask about whether they think one would work on my car... They should know exactly where the fuel is going to. Would love to find out about that black fto above.. want to know how he did it.
