how does it work anyway? u press the button and the car starts? isn't that less secure as anybody that can get the car open can start it?

You still have to turn it on to ACC then press the button, which i think is stupid :?

That does sound kind of pointless... 8O

I thought it'd just use the alarm to imobilise/lock doors etc for security... clearly not. Heh.

Sounds kind of like a waste of money to me :? even if isn't much.

In theory it's a modification for a race car without a key, flick the switch beside the button (essentially like turning the car to accessory position) then press the button to start.

It's just another of those "my car looks like a racecar but isn't" modifications, don't get me wrong, I like the look of them, but they really are pointless when you can just turn the key...

They are a cheap modification, and if done with other interior mods can look pretty trick.

I say go ahead and do it, perhaps remove one of those blank panels in the dash if you have them and make another one up so you can return it to stock if you don't like it.

U can always hide the button but, maybe put it down near you accelerator sumwhere so you just jump into the car put in the key and give the button a bit of a kick,
