Why is it that i always seem to look at the the odometer just as it ticks over another 1000km's

Its best not to think about it... just leave it on the trip metre... thats what I do

You could always take the cluster out........ Wouldnt have to watch it tick over then!!!

I always have to have the trip meter on coz my fuel gauge is busted so I also have to keep an eye out for the 450km mark when it's fill up time.
Probably just under a quarter of a tank then.
