how to reset Tip box??

Hi All,
I would be changing my tip box oil these weekend... I read a few here...
saying to "reset the tip box"??
do i just remove the battery + and - for a few minute for it to reset?

yeah, if u r talking about reseting the tip ECU so it clears all the stuff it has "learnt" (and error codes if there's any), then i'm pretty sure u just have to disconnect the battery.

do you guys get shifting problems for about a week after resetting the ECU???

um... yes and no...
i just reset my ecu 2 days ago (not sure if u would remember but i was freaking about an ideling problem with my car, but it turned out that it was just a broken wire lol, but while fixing that realised my negetive terminal was loose, so i took it off, cleaned it then put it back)
long story short, i reset my ecu, and i do have "shifting problems" compared to what the car was like... but i prefer the setting now than before lol.
i excellerate lard-ish than cruise, and i think the guy before me just grandma-ed everywhere lol, so my shifts are later than i am used to, but actually it suits my driving better now than before.
what did you mean by shift probs>?
