hi, both of my head lights blew, i think (the outer bulb, not the parking light). initially the left blew, then 1 or 2 days later the right 1.

how do i replace it? read some fto workshop manual but doesnt say much... just "disconnect the connector and take out the bulb"...

help please, thanks.

Its been a while since i've changed it, but from memory u don't need any tools. Just your good old fingers.

Well you do need to unplug the plug first, which isn't hard, it connected directly to bulb, take a good decent pic of it and then i circle it for you, or maybe someone can describe it better then i do.

I don't have my FTO for a while now, if not, i would of took a pic and then show u.

Yep,

should be just a twist to get them out - no tools required. Havent seen xenons yet, so if you have them, may be different

Tadasu looks like you have the xenon housing. You need an allen key to remove the housing.

To replace the xenon low beam lights, you need a D2S bulb which will cost you at least $100 for a pair, and most likely more.

If you have lights which have been converted to halogens (as part of compliance), then you need to determine what bulb has been fitted and simply replace that.

My car has that exact same housing as per your photo. There are three screws holding that plastic cap on. You'll need an allen key to remove the screws then the plastic cap comes off. In my car, it was converted to H1 bulbs. To replace, just undo the metal clips holding the H1 bulb in place, take bulb out then reverse process.

Btw, i got some H1 55W +50 bulbs from Auto one, Hella branded. Not too bad and no fiddling.
