Have a fibreglass bonnet up for sale. Is white and a lot lighter than a stock bonnet. It looks as though it has been made from a direct mould of a standard bonnet. This has come of the GPvR Aero I have just imported and is in excellent condition.

Was going to ask $420 for it, but after the legality comments, will take $370 (this will buy me a stock replacement). If it helps, I will be travelling to Sydney with a box trailer (empty atm) on Saturday week.

Ive been told that it may well be a Project F bonnet:

Is that the metal frame from the old frame welded on there? How is that attached exactly?

No,

Thats a fibreglass frame. They must have taken a mould of an original bonnet and used that. This bonnet is completely made of fibreglass excepting for the latch and maybe where the hinges bolt on. I had to look closely at it to notice. Thought it was metal myself at first.

Shame you aren't in Vic - I'd trade you my stock white bonnet plus cash your way.

Ah well.

If anyone in Sydney interested in this, im travelling up to Sydney on Saturday with an EMPTY box trailer. I could bring the bonnet if anyone wants it........
