You health freak you! I spent the day stripping the rear callipers as the car had failed its MOT on the handbrake not being effective enough. There was one sticky slider on each side so hopefully thats it now, once the welding has been done and the lower wishbone fitted

Might get to drive it soon

Think I will strip the rears too as it's not been done in a wee while :)

I also need to fit my new horn and make up some new brackets for the front bumper so it is on nice and secure!

I'm not quite a health freak but I did cycle 10 miles each way to and from work on Sunday so I may be heading that way - also gonna do the charity cycle from Glasgow-Edinburgh in June :)

Fixed my leak in the car too - I was getting a damp footwell behind the drivers seat and after I stripped out the whole rear of the car I found out there was water in beside the spare wheel (reservoir? lol).

Turns out the rubber grommet from one of the rear lights was not pulled thru so it was not sealed - once that was done it was fine and has been since!

Neither does FTOOC - we were on a motorway and I just meant when the traffic in front cleared we both accelerated to about 80mph....we were not weaving in and out of traffic or going full speed....it was a sunday morning and very quiet...

I don't drive fast generally, but if any of you are telling me you never see another modded car and speed up a bit or change down a gear so your exhaust makes a bit more noise then I'll be in my minority of one.

Plenty ppl will tell you I drive like Miss Daisy but I see no harm in having a wee blast on an empty motorway. When ppl go up to silly speeds I just let em and back off.

Feel free to look back over my almost 5 years of posts on the FTOOC and I'm sure you will not find one mention of racing in my posts.

Maybe it's because I am "away" from home I said that ;)

Nah, just don't like being judged by ppl who don't know me.
Maybe I should have said "played with a DC5" much nicer connotations....

I was doing some friendly jousting with a supra on the way back from Japfest, we nearly touched 60 MPH on the straight bits at one point
