Whats 107KW in Brake Horse Power?
For us people still in "the old country"

107/0.749 = 143bhp

nope a manual -
arc intake chamber is like the intake pipe, so i dont have the airbox - need to house my airfilter and get a CAI - LAZY!!!!
im kinda happy, I know each dyno is different but last time I got it tested was about three years ago, I had no mods at all & the car was leaking oil etc and it ran 90kw atw - maybe not that relevant but 107 sounds better haha

Nice one Euro!
It's probably more than 107 though. Notice at the bottom of the dyno it says speed is 196kp/h and rpms are roughly at 7500 ? I think the stock ecu is cutting power as you've exceeded 180 jap speed limit. If revved to 8250rpms, should have 1 or 2 more atw kw

(yes i know stock, peak power is 7500, but when modded, i think peak power actually moves a bit later into the rpm range).

Engine cuts speed a tad over 190... about 195 or so...
and it doesnt limit power... it cuts it totally...
107 is an awesome number mate...
Supercharge/turbo/nos for more.. yay! lol
$12k / $12k / $??
Not the cheapest options around

Sorry, when i said cut power, i meant engine cutting out. My bad engrish sorry
Edit - Did you tell them to do a 3rd gear run ? That will allow to engine to rev to 8250 but your torque readings would be majorly off due to gear ratios.

top stuff 143bhp 107kw
same as the GPVR
I had a MIVEC controler running my car now just run it at factory spec
as has better power.
controler runs the car to rich.

I thought the SAFC cut off the factory fitted limiter?
Yeh I am quite happy with the result - best thing about the SAFC is the car just feels smoother, previously I think my car was lagging a bit (maybe just from it not being tuned for a long time?? is that a fair comment?). Getting excited driving it again!
and here i was saying no more $$$ on the car haha, now I want extractors

looks like you scored about the same as me on the revzone dyno
mines a tip auto with exhaust / extractors / FPR / pod filter
...and was p!ssing oil at the time
would be interested to see what i'd get now after the major service
and without the oil leaks
??

okay now what is an safc i know its an apexi controller or sumthin but what does it actually do and how much does it roughly cost???

Its an air fuel controller (if im not mistaken) which conrolls the amount of fuel thats pumped into your engine according to revs and air volume.
It just lets you fine tune the computer to accomodate for aftermarket mods.

thats interesting.... obviously mine being a manual - you would expect more KW but then you have more mods etc - do you have safc too?
i remember one mech - saying that oil leaks would have no effect on performance but i find that hard to believe?

Oil leaks would only effect output if they are big enough to cause fluctuations in crank case pressure.

I confirm his 107 cos I have 106 and we have raced a few times and we have been exactly the same. Same dyno of course.
We have hi-flo cats, intakes etc...Dave u need one if u havnt already it will get u over the line easily.
Box up your intake - none of this ghay exposed pod sh*t on an NA and
ensure u have a good hi-flo muffler and cat is the key.
Dont worry about the result too much dave...based on my experience the manual is probably the best upgrade u can have over a tip.
Fix cat and intake and u will be set. Only extractors on the list following that...then u have exhausted your value for money upgrades.

yeah agreed chris.
I need to change over the CAT and definatley need to change the airbox setup.
My main holding point with the airfilter is I need to get a custom airbox for it (due to the fact I have an ARC intake). Then obviously need to run a CAI pipe too it. I know freddy at topstage can make this for me, but wasnt overly wrapped in the quality of a mates airbox made by him.

do the cat #1. if u get one of Justin he has a good one, think mine is like 730CFM which saw about 5kw atw gain in my FTO. more on my line.
Stock box with new intake is fine at these power levels is fine, just add a high flow pannel filter from K&N. For the NA, keep is sealed - its the #1 rule and u may find smoother throttle response.

the arc intake pipe wont fit the stock box though - tried it
