Haven't driven my car in a month...

Yeah, that's pretty freakin poor form, I know :(

I've been down at the snow, it has been amazing but now it's time to go home.
I just wanted to ask... not really a help issue, but... is there anything I need to do with my car after it hasn't even been started for a month? It had a full tank of BP Ultimate in it when I left it, which I've probably blown (doesn't the higher octane fuel lose its mojo after about a month?). But apart from that?

Cheers guys, looking forward to getting back in the drivers seat :D :D :D

On the oil rig regularly, for over a month sometimes - starts a bit reluctantly sometimes, but always starts. Make a point of letting her run for a half hour or more before i drive her anywhere though.

well technically all fuel goes bad if they r left sitting for over a month, but meh, it doenst make much of a difference. but if u worried about it, you can get additives for your fuel to keep it "fresh", i know mower shops sell them, but i dont see why servos wont sell them.
if u regularly leave your car sitting for that long all the time, i'd be a little more concerned about the amount of crap that builds up at the bottom of your fuel tank

I use the 100RON in my Super Fast Ugly Box. I can tell u after a month the Knock levels do increase as I have a dash readout on my PowerFC.

Wont be an issue for a stock ECU/tune ad on BP98 IMO

Damn it, the joke is on me. I just wandered out to the garage to start up the beast and head out for a bit of a drive...

Lo and behold, the car turns over but doesn't catch. Each time I turn the key it gets a little less convincing... then, it doesn't even turn over and the alarm sort of sounds.

flat battery? Much as that sucks, I hope so + that it isn't something else. I've got it on the charger at the moment, hoping it'll be better by this afternoon as I needa get to soccer training. If not, new battery i guess. Sucks. :(

Ahh... got it started this afternoon, sweet.

All I had to do in the end was chuck a charger on it for an hour or so, and that gave it enough juice to get going. Half hour drive home and it started again a few hours later, right as rain :D

I'd forgotten why I love my car so much - remembered on the drive home
