Hey guys, can someone point in the right direction.

Last Sunday i did a complete flush of my coolant and radiator as the coolant in the car was....... rusty..

So basically undo the bottom pipe to flush everything out, with the water hose in the top. Then i undid the top pipe and pulled the whole thing out, leaving it on top of the engine while i added on the new extractors from rpw.

ok so i put everything back together.... o2 sensor wouldn't screw on so fixing that tomorow... which is a whole nother story

But yesterday was driving then the car overheated.... steam coming out of the bonnet from the overflow tank on 'canning hwy... so pulled over and topped it up with water... then today was driving home at 9.30 and it all most overheated on 'canning hwy so stopped and added some more coolant... when i was adding the coolant i could hear dripping... the floor was getting drenched in coolant :(

What i have figured out is that its leaking coolant... HELPP!!!!

check all the pipes for cracks? if they're brittle they might have busted when you've removed them. ... top up your coolant & go round them all giving them all a good squeeze, check that they're all fastened on tight...

might be worthwhile to get the pro's to flush your radiator, at least once, then you can do it yourself fro a while before you take it back to them. they'll get all the crud sitting on the bottom that you can't manage to clear out when you do it at home...

hey dude thats an easy fix i had the same problem when i flushed mine ...all u do is leave your car running with the radiator cap off for 15 mins ...theres bubbles in your engine when u refill so there causeing the over heating ..trust me do it :)

might want to talk to them about fixing up some other things while they are getting to the water pump, e.g. check cam tower for oil leaks, possibly fix that up ... might be other stuff they can do as well, they will know ;)
