Try Ricol Automotive at Peakhurst... Norman St ...
They do all Jap cars, did the Evo conversion to my Hyundai, and are now building my Evo III ...

Yeah, not sure which one would be best... I know lots of guys from Nissan Sylvia.com use Ricol and highly reccomend them too ...
So yeah, they don't b'sh*t you around and don't overcharge you ... They have worked with imports for ages .. So yeah ... Personally, I go no where else ...

Yeah, not sure ...
No hurry ... Has been there for almost 12 months now ... Colin is the mechanic that I deal with mostly ... He really knows his stuff... Is good with the old dyno tune too ...
Glad it worked out for ya... I was going to drop in today, but ran out of time ...

Na got rid of the Hyundai ... Had it up to 238.1kw @ the wheels in the Sonata... So yeah, now on to an AWD platform ...
I had to go with early Evo Platform as the engine I have will only go in Evo 1-3 as from 4 and up the engine was changed... So yeah, went with the 3 ...

so what do you guys think of Ricol and its pricing?

I found them to be quite good ... They don't bullshit you around, and if something is wrong, they fix it right ...
I had other stuff done by dealers, and other mechanics around the area, and have used Ricol ever since... I think I have been going there for about 2-3 years now ... Have done the Hyundai/Evo conversion, building the Evo III, serviced my Commodore, Serviced my Cressida (almost did a 1j conversion there, but changed my mind), and will now be servicing the FTO ...
Only bad thing ... They don't have a courtesy car ... But they will drop you off at the train station and pick you up if needed...

Another plug for ISMR at rockdale. Good shop, good prices and friendly service by the owners. A bit of my fto work was done there. The s/c'd rolla also gets taken care of down there now.
Yep, plenty of evo and gt-r eye candy down there. They love their high performance n/a's too.
Lol fto617, i went down there yesterday with my mps3 and Indy's like "wtf

" haha.

LOL....why get mps3 for!
sigh....that car is too soft for me IMO....
the DC5R can definitely rip that car to bits to be honest straight line and on the track
hmm...coming to think of it...my friends EK race civic just ripped my evos ass at wakefield doing a 1.06. My best is 1.08
dammit ><

I need a good auto electrician, are these guys good for this too? Or can anyone recommend a good auto electrician please?

What is the problem that needs to be sorted ???
I know Ricol re-wired my whole car (put the EMS into the Sonata), went through all the wiring when my air con would shut on and off ... Took a while but they sorted it ... Done all the wiring + air con piping and work as e had to modify it all to fit around the add on's in the engine bay ... etc. etc.
Wired up many Cressida 1j-2j conversions and a whole lot more ...

I’ve got a couple of small things that need doing.
1. Wire folding mirrors up to my alarm. I’ve got the instructions and relays needed.
2. Correctly wire up my oil pressure dial and air/fuel dial
3. My alarm is faulty. Keeps putting it’s self in silent mode. It’s a loose connection somewhere
4. Fit new window guide on drivers side (I know this isn’t an auto electricians job but depending on where I take it, maybe I can get it all done)
5. Fit Angel Eyes.

Most important are the angel eyes.
