as far as i know there are no high power spec cams available for a NA fto...

Have a chat to RPW... if anyone knows, they do...

They put the 6a13tt cams in mine... But im not sure what would suit yours...

im presuming it would be $3k+ and would need some aftermaket ECU to help make the most of it...

im guessing 15kw atw???

Lol cams in n/a mivec fto ?

The high high cams are actually a pretty good profile already, with a few breathing mods, they are still making power when ecu fuel cuts the bugger.
I believe there's a tad bit available for gain down low but it's only a bit more torque...way not worth the money we're talking here. IMHO, it's not worth playing with cams in a mivec if you're going to stay n/a. If you plan to FI later, then that may be a different story, or if your car is a dedicated track car.

Do some work on the heads. Take a couple of thou off them to bump up the compression, port out the inlet & exhaust ports, port the intake manifold to match.

Spoke to some of the poms who've decked the heads - reckon they got some good hp increases out of it. Gotta be careful not to go too far thou, valve clearances can get tight.

if a workshop had no customer lineup, how long would it take for them to deck, port and polish, and refit the heads for these? and would the computer need a retune, or would it balance itself out?

you can get bad batches for sure...seem people blow engines with highly tuned cars...the ecu will R&R on a bad batch usually to save u form serious detonation. rule of thumb is to always buy fuel from places with lots of customers. Fuel can go off..particularly the 100RON VPR.

so aza013...what actualy went wrong?
