the mechanic is stumped, as am i.
so basically, does any body have any idea's why?

Yep, black smoke usually means too much fuel. Dunno, could be a sensor. Checked the ECU codes?

just wondering where abouts the o2 sensor is located?
on my old car they (it had 2) were located around the headers.

ok my vacuum gauge isnt working so i looked in the engine bay
and the vacuum hose in the back of the engine has been torn off.
could this cause the issue?
please tell me it is lol
also can somebodt please take a pic of there throttlebody looking straight down, so i can see where the vacuum lines go, or have a link telling you where they go.

if the vacuum gauge is hooked up to the fuel pressure regulator... then thats your problem...

theres 3 vac lines...
1 to the map sensor...
1 to the brake booster
1 to the fuel pressure regulator!
