Does anyone have a spare cluster lying around? I want to test the KCM dails on them first before taking mine apart.

You shouldn't need to take your old dials off to put the KMC ones on, they ought to just slip over your existing dial faces, taking the actual cluster out is pretty easy, getting it back in is a bit more difficult, but it just takes a bit of maneuvering - like trying to get a couch through a single doorway, all in the angles

but definitely not worth buying a new cluster to practice, there's not much you can break when you do it...
just make sure to take a picture of the location of the needles, and try not to bump the needles out of place

And dont, for god sake, lose the little pin that stops the needles from pointing due south!
