Im looking to give up my eunos 30X and get an FTO. the details are below;
1996 Eunos 30X
1.8L V6
White colour
130 000kms
Excellent Condition
New sports brakes
Sports Strut Bar
15'' wheels
Kenwood 12'' 1000W subwoofer
Boss 1000W 4 Channel Amp
2X Boss 600W 300RMS 6X9s
Sunroof
Blue / White interior colour coding (soon to be completed)
The car runs very quickly for a 1.8L and is extremely reliable. IVe only had to regularly service it. Ive owned it for a year with 125000 on the clock. I didnt wind it back main reason for driving only 5000kz in a year: i only used ti to drive to school and back home. what can i say i dont have much of a social life..
Ive had offers of 8 500 but i wanna scout out the whole field before i get nething done. Im willing to put some cash on top of the trade.
any interest?

WTTC!
my parents have a Eunos... they're a nice car, pretty zippy too which is always good

$8500 seems to be a pretty good price for it..
Most FTO owners seem to move on to bigger, more powerful cars when its time to sell ... but you might get lucky though..
Probably your best bet would be to trade-in for an FTO at a dealer, but you probably wouldn't get as good a price.. so you might be better off selling & putting it towards an FTO
FTO's are a niiiiice car, you won't be sorry if you buy a good one

Good luck with the sale & the purchase

lol yea i kinda did think that it would end up with me going in to either trade it in or trying to sell it privately..
dont get me rong i agree with u i love my eunos but the fto always intrigued me and i loved the idea of tiptronic transmission. if it wudnt have cost me a fortune to put the transmission in the 30 i would have done so and kept it.. but then again theres my love for mitsus
neone know how the two would fare head to head ... ? the eunos V fto i mean.. interesting huh ?

Eunos 30X (mazda MX3) 1.8L V6 : 0-100 km/h = 8.5 seconds
Mitsubishi FTO GPX 2.0L Mivec V6: 0-100 km/h = 7.5 seconds

coz if you compare an FTO to a sky.line, rex or evo.. they aren't that quick.
but if you compare an FTO to most other cars on the road, they aren't too shabby

They are a Tourer, not a Racer

Not much money required to put a manny mivec into 14's for the 1/4. So yeah, they can be fastish on the road if you mod it well. a lot of expensiveish sport cars are only 14's (stock though

).
Anyways, GL with it. If you do get a good one, yeah you'll love it!

thanks guys..
i have no doubt that the fto is a great car. i spoke with a friend today and she told me she was on the verge of buying one but found out insurace was a bitch so she opted for a 2002 ZR celica.. not a bad change but still im minto the fto
but first things first i need to sell the Eunos to be able to get my fto project off the ground..

Just bought a car from them. Picked it up yesterday. Couldn't be happier. Refer to the following link about the dealership:
http://www.ftoaustralia.com//modules.ph ... ic&t=13398
He has got 2 Black GPX's, 1 Champagne GPX and a White GPvR. All are triptronic apart from the GPvR.
But they are excellent to deal with and Alex (the owner) is a great guy and very helpful. He went all out in helping me.
Best of luck.

I am pretty sure that he doesn't do trade ins. Its not exactly a dealership but rather a workshop. He then imports cars from Japan, parks them out front and sells them. Once he has sold some, he gets more. He only ever has a small amount of cars. As of this week, he has 3 GPX's and 1 GPvR.
