Ben swears by it

awhile ago he posted in a thread about it. Think he said his car compared to a similar fto would get a car length or two due to the lightweight flywheel ?
You're gonna lose torque low down though Jono. Just depends what you want out of your car!

dont know about losing low down torque
i have one... feels slightly faster but i only noticed the quicker decelleration....
and had to be a bit careful in the carparks and things like that where you only use a little bit of throttle... if you want to go slower you gotta take your foot off in fractions of a millimeter or it goes into decell and your neck snaps forward

not so bad if your in second though, or if the air con is on (idle speed is up) its not so bad...

auto's have a flex plate, only used for starter motor to engage

The flywheel, or flexplate, mounts to the engine's crankshaft and also serves as a mounting location for the torque converter. Consequently, the flywheel or flexplate transmits engine torque to the torque converter housing. The flywheel?s ring gear also serves as an engagement point for the pinion of the starter motor when cranking the engine. Because of the lightweight design of the flywheel or flexplate, it does not help to smooth out power pulses from the engine like the flywheel does on a car with a manual transmission. On cars with automatic transmissions, the torque converter provides this function.

no mate
good stuff I reckon, to many time people post up questions before a quick serach. If more people did what you did the forum would be a better place.
keep it up.

If your chasing after these - RPW does stock them and at some good pricing. Also stock the clutches that go with them as well.
