by intergrated i mean the coverd filters i think apexi make one and ive seen a carbon one be for as well

yes the air would get forced in, to an extent, but what wil happen is once the pipe/filter etc gets to a certin pressure, which wont be much more than normal atmosphere pressure the only way more air will go in is at the same rate the engine can suck the air in,
the best part of putting the pipe behind where your fog light hole is, is that you will be getting cooler air, which is denser, (cold gasses, molicules are compressed- hot gasses molicules are expanded)

I have a HKS superflow mushroom filter & don't see myself having any problems getting an air ram to force feed it with the enclosure I'm putting it in..
What ever you decide on, make sure it has some little ventilation holes to reduce the pressure build up & to let some of the warmer air to escape etc etc..

I've got a post somewhere on the 'enclosure' i'm putting it in .. but basically if you go to BigW you can get a Pot Plant bucket 'Mondo' brand that fits it almost perfectly & doesn't look half bad in the engine bay..

lol, i can't decide whether you're making fun of my awesome 'box' or trying to ask where you can get one?
but yeah, i've cut a hole for the air ram pipe at the front of the 'box' to suck in cold air from the front grill
it's a sealed box, has awesome temperature resistance & a small hole to reduce pressure etcetc bla bla

lol. Love the plant pot mike! Stroke of genius.
You know you've got it bad when you look at something and your first thought is "How can I use that on my car?".

Heard good things about the CDA filters.
Hostile does 'em as well:

not cheap are they. dose any 1 have a size spec on theses ? length width cos it will have to fit in a certan place in my engine bay and dose any 1 no if they can fit on to 3" pipeing with out reducers?
