NEED HELP ASAP Fog Lights wont turn off!

I need changed the battery over because the old one died and once I started to drive it I turned on the fog lights. Once I turned off the car the fog lights dont turn off for some reason? I disconnected the battery again and when I connect it back up the fog lights still stay on even when the switch is off and all the interior lights are off.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Anyone know how I can fix it?
I was thinking of taking either the bulbs out of the fuse for the fog lights until I know how to fix the problem, does anyone know which fuse it is?
Thanks

Sounds to me like your switch has fused. That is a weakness with the FTO. Pull the switch out and remove the plug on the back

You need to find a new fog light switch and place a relay between the foggies and the switch so it won't happen again.

The surprising thing is that you've had your car since 2003 (Assuming as that's when you signed up) and this hasn't happened to you earlier

Had any interest with your brother's car?
You need to source a new fog light switch... ask Dstocks perhaps, but they aren't all that common I don't think, sorry!

Yeah some but everyone is comparing it to a $9000 manual FTO with crappy paint and 180000kms on the clock.
He has dropped the price now to $14000 inc stereo wand RWC with stock wheels...Its a steal I reckon the car is in perfect condition!

The switch is a multi switch. You should be able to hook a relay upto the switch still just need to know which pin to go to.

OK,
Just got a price back now. New one will cost around the $50 mark (could be a couple of dollars over) by the time it gets here. Add postage to Melbourne on top of that.

Say 2 weeks to be safe. Could be quicker though.
