Willowbank Test and Tune Sat 30th August

Meet: Fig Tree Pocket (Near Indooroopilly Brisbane) PM me for address
Time: 4:50 for 5pm depart
Heading to Jindalee for an early din din... Then onto willowbank for some drag racing...
$38 To race (will get 2-8 runs depending on how busy)
$15 to watch i think
Need long sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes, ADR approved helmet.
I've got some other mates going as well..

I'll be spending the majority of tonight working on the car.
removing subs, rear seats, maybe passenger seat etc....
want a 13.5, but the way this thing launches i dont know if i'll get it...
My ET is too low and my MPH is too high... i need an LSD or even better, AWD...
I'm expecting a 125mph which should be a solid mid 12... but 1-2nd gear is too hard on traction...
oh well, see how we go...

Went for a strap last night...
Can notice the weight difference...
But the noise.... oh dear god... between the howl of the exhausts and the whine of the fuel pump... i think i'll have a headache by the time i get to willowbank...
Also Simon: River fire is on tonight as is powercruise...
So the drag strip will be fairly quiet... Hoping to get 6+ runs in tonight...

Best i could pull from the FTO was a 14.451 @103mph
after a big wtf, i checked it all out and i've got a leak somewhere... im maxing at 5-6 psi at aroud 6,000rpm+
dammit
Van pulled a 21.16 though
