Just wondering if I could get some help with some information on the GReddy Emanage Blue. I can get a hold of one for $350 with the support tool and harness. (2nd hand in unused condition).
How much would I be looking at for installation and tune?
Has anybody had any problems or know of anything to look out for?
Thanks in advance.

When you say harness...do you mean the main harness that they call come with or did you mean with the extra harnesses ? I.e. the injector harness and there was another i forget atm. If it's $350 with all harnesses, that's a good deal!
And BS to 700-800 bucks for an install and tune. More like $500.

Well considering i just got mine done, im not BS. Noob you live in a different state, maybe in sydney would pay 500 where you have a plethera of tuners but up here i rang about 10 tuners and they wouldnt even touch it as they didnt know how to install so just gave some crap excuse about i should go with a microtech or something.
Plus when it comes to something as critical as an ECU, i would much rather pay a little bit higher and know its getting down by proffessionals.

the syd price will be from $500 - $700 it would come down to the place you go to get it put in.
and you will have to do your home work on the place befor you get them to put it in and tune as they can F*#K it up and there gos your motor.

ROFL n00b... whatever.
$500 installed and tuned IS done at an awesome place that knows what they are doing. Sure you can pay more, if you wanna throw away money egh.
Man you Qld'er get jabbed for tuning.
Btw, OP, might be worth looking at getting a one touch field connector if it's available for the FTO. This will allow your emanage to plug straight into the FTO. Pricing will come to the same as if you just used the universal harnesses and get it done but the advantage is it's a proper connector and you can uninstall easily afterwards and everything will look untouched (connector > solder/crimps etc).

lol, yeah unfortunatly the whole automotive trade up here is crap and when i say that there are some really awesome places but few and far between and its hard to find them
Last time i checked there was no harness for the fto, you have to get the universal one but that was about 6months ago

I decided not to go ahead with it now as it is still only a piggy-back unit. I am planing some pretty big work for the old girl and it would be cheaper in the long run to wait and run a full replacement engine management system.
Got my tax back and was just getting impatient.

I'll just keep saving. Thanks for all the quick replies though.
