Ok guys, this is more of question for Ben, but im sure someone else might be able to answer this for me

am i better off getting an air powered (pneumatic) 300nm impact wrench?

or a 240V 260nm electric impact wrench ?

the 240V is significantly cheaper and i also wont need to buy an air compressor

also if i get a pneumatic wrench, what rating of air compressor do i need? how many L/min, psi? hp?

oki rate air tools big time they are awesome and so useful with so many applications

yes you will need compressor, lines couplings etc

generally home air tools require around 90-120psi

i reccomend belt driven ones not direct feed also as for size a small tank will obviously drain faster. however you can offset this buy having bigger tank attached eg connect to an old car lpg tank will give you plenty of air to use at once it will just take a little longer to fill once you turn it on :D

Get a compressor, they're brilliant. We got a 14cfm compressor, does everything you could ever need for cars. Cost us about $450. Then add the price of your tools. So much less maintenance on pneumatic tools.

^^^^^ totally agree with all of the above.

Go into any workshop....any real workshop  and they will use air.....theres a reason for that.

although electric obviously win for portability if you need that. If only for home use def go for the compressor & rattle gun, then there's no end of the toys you can buy to go with it :D

I have to agree how useful it is to have an air compressor, it has so many uses and just requires the right attachment. They'll also last for a long time.
